WAIRARAPA v. MANAWATU. Thursday was a glorious golfer's day (says the Manawatu Tames),- and the match at Bokowhitu between Manawatu and Wairarapa proved most enjoyable. There were eight players on each side, the first sax of whom played for the Wilson Cup. Of these four games went to Manawatu men, who thus retain the cup. Counting all matches, Maiiawatu defeated Wairarapa by 6 to 2, Manawatu's first two men, A. Barraud (captain*) and L. Seifert, suffering defeat by Messrs J. C. and W.
