CLEARING SALES.

MESSRS DALGETY AND CO.'S LIST. In tins morning's issue of the Wairarapa Age, Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., advertise particulars of five clearing sales of stock, to take place at an early date, in different parts of the district, which should be perused with interest. The first sale is announced to take place at DALEFIELD, on account of Mr John Brown, on Tuesday, July 11th. The list includes 21 first-class dairy cows, heifer calves, pedigree Jersey bull, and general farming requisites. MAURICEVILLE WEST. On Thursday,. July 13th, the auctioneers will hold an unreserved clearing sale of dairy stock on account of Mr James Elliott, Mauriceville West, comprising 20 first-class young dairy cows, and al&o a long list of dairy stock on account of neighbouring vendors. MARTINBOROUGH. Another sale to be held on Thursday. July 13th, is at Dry River, Martinborough, on account of Mr T. Freethey, who has disposed of his property. The list includes 20 first-class dairy cows, heifers, yearlings, horses, and sheep. A very fine lot of prize poultry will also be submitted to auction. MANGAMAHOE. j An important clearing sale is to "be held on the property of Mr Thomas I Sfcrawbridge, four miles from MangaI mahoe, on Monday, 17th inst. Mr Strawbridge is giving up farming, and his stock embraces 420 sheep, 48 head of cattle (including eleven firstclass dairy cows), hacks and harness horses, pigs, etc. Conveyances will-be provided for the benefit of clients attending the sale. TEWERAITI. On Tuesday, July 18th, an unreserved clearing sale will be held at Te Weraiti, Masterton, in the estate of the late Robert Gordon Johnston. The list comprises 550 of 2,4, 6 and 8-tooth ewes in lamb to Shropshire rams, 12 Shropshire rams, 100 good lambs, steers, heifers, calves, and horses. The dead stock includes general farming requisites, totara. posts,, battens, firewood, etc.
