CHURCH SERVICES.
The Rev. W. H. Speer, of Pahiatua, will occupy the pulpit of the Masterston Methodist Church to-morrow r morning and evening. At the Baptist Church, Murray'sHall, Queen Street, to-morrow night's service, Pastor E. Swinerd's subject will, be, ''Spiritualism—Satanic, not ! Divine." The Rev. A. Hodge will conduct the services at the Congregational Church' to-morrow, the morning subject being, "Lessons from Daniel (4): The Empire that shall stand for ever and ever." The evening subject will be 'The Sabbath, from the institution o£ the Primeval Sabbath, to the establishment of' the Lord's Day upon the first day of the week." The Rev. S. Barnett speaks to-mor-row-as follows: —Three o'clock, Exchange Hall, "How Wesley and early; Methodists utilised psychic- forces" J 7 p.m., "Physical Healing by Spirit Doctors." To both he invites progressive thinkers, and to the former, old) style Methodists are specially invited. The Rev. A. T. Thompson,. 8.A., 8.D., will conduct the serviices at Knox Church to-morrow morning and evening, and at Miki Miki in the afternoon. Services will also be held at Kopuaranga in the afternoon, and at Wangaehu in the evening. This week end will see Masterton with an extra crowd of visitors, and the Y.M.C.A. offers a free and heartjr, invitation to all men to have tea there on Sunday at 5 p.m. The speaker at the tea is the Rev. W. H. Speer, of Pahiatua. An interesting afternoon is expected! at the Y.M.C.A. on Sunday, at 3.45 o'clock, when Mr Perrin is (by invitation) repeating his address on "The Tabernacle and its Furniture." The model tabernacle and furnishings will be on view, and members of the local Orange Lodge will be present, and all men are welcome. The services will be conducted at' the Salvation Army Hall, Hall Street, to-morrow, by Ensign Avenell, at the usual hours. There will be bright, hearty singing at each service, and j, hearty invitation is extended to all. The Rev. R. McNaughton has beea invited by the members of the Congregational Church in Masterton, to. conduct a mission beginning to-mor-row week, when special sermons will be preached. The missioner is at present the minister of the Napier Congrgational Church. Mr McNaughton was educated for the special work in Moody's Institute in Chicago, and has announced his intention of relinquishing the settled pastorate for the distinctly evangelistic work.
