TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast:— There has been little movement of the barometer in the northern and southernmost districts, but a moderate rise (has taken .place elsewhere. •Southerly and westerly winds have prevailed, moderate to strong, with showery and changeable weather, esipocially in the north and southernmost districts. Present indications are for moderate - to .strong southerly winds generlally, and a rising barometer everywhere, with ..cold and changeable ■weather, but squally in Foveaux Strait:
