MASTERTON STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and C 0.,, Ltd., report having held their usual weekly sale at the Solway yards- yesterday, when they offered a small yarding of Iroth sheep and cattle: We are pleased to report having had a good clearance. The sheep entry comprised only ewes in lamb and woolly lamhs, j which met with good competition. The : cattle entry" was very small, only four pens coming forward. On account of Messr-t Barton Bros, we offered two lines" of 3 and 4-year steers, which brought from £6 to £6 10s. Quotations are as follows:—Woolly lambs, to 8s 2d; shorn lambs, to 7s lOd; amall lambs, to 4s lOd; f .m. ewes in lamb, lis to 12s; 3-year steers, £3; 3 and 4-year steers, up to £6 10s; 2Jyear steers, £4 15s; fat cows, to £6 ss.
