KING'S LETTER TO BADEN-POWELL GENERAL CONGRATULATED ON RESULTS. (Received Last Night, 10.20 o'clock.) LONDON, July 5. ' His Majesty the King, in a letter to General Baden-Powell, said he was greatly pleased to see jo many Boy Scouts from all parts of the United Kingdom, also from the overseas Dominions. His Majesty welcomed the opportunity of showing his appreciation of the great voluntary work done by men and women of all classes, who were striving to promote the " progress of sound training and education among the Empire's rising generation. His Majesty congratulated General Baden-Powell on the remarkable results the Boy Scout movement had achieved. He felt sure that the boys of the Empire would show their gratitude for the encouragement so generously given by various organisations at Home and abroad, and endeavour to be God-fearing and useful citizens.
