TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast:— The "weather has been unsettled and showery in parts, especially on the West Coast and .southern-most districts of the South Island. Moderate westerly winds, changing to light southerlies, have prevailed. The barometer lias ris'en in the northern districts, but has been unsteady elsewhere. Piresent indications are for a rising barometer everywhere, with moderate to strong southerly winds. Cold and ehiangeabla conditions will probably precede a spell of fair weather evierywhere.
