MR ASQUITH STICKS TO HIS COLOURS. NO INTENTION TO WITHDRAW. (Received July 4, 1.30' p.m.) * LONDON, July 3. In the House of Commons, Mr J. O. Wedgwood, liberal member for Newcastle, asked the Prime' Minister whether, in view of the Government's defeat in the House of Lords, it would withdraw tihe Parliament Bill and recommend the creation of Peers in order that tlhe will of tihe people might prevail. •Ma- Asquith replied that the Government did not intend to withdraw the Bill.
