TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) ; WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast : The barometer fell slowly on, Saturday, but rose- in the South. <jai Sunday, with cloudy and softiawhat milder weather, and rain in parts, but hard frosts were recorded in tlie South on Sunday nighty and a cold night everywhere. The. winds have been moderate and variable. . Present indications iare fora'sEght temporary fall in, the barometer in the South, preceding a rise everywhere. Variable winds}-jpill probably soon give way to moderate southerlies generally. Conditions are 1 somewhat unsettled now in parts, but there are indications for fair weather .shortly with a steadily rising barometer.
