THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
The matinee and evening entertainment at the Foresters' Hall on Saturday were well patronised. An exceptionally good series has been secured for the change of prograimne this evening. Two particularly fine vaudeville turns are included, and of these "The Blumes Cyclists" is undoubtedly the best tilling of its kind yet shown in Masterton, but the comedian turn of Murray and Kindly will probably be equally appreciated. A fine adaptation of Jules Northolde's famous novel "Cain" is the star drama, and a splendid. production it is. "The House> with the Closed Shutters" is an A.B. specialty, admirably' filmed and enacted."The Floating Message" is an absorbing drama with, a unique ending. "Coward, or Hero" is one of the Vitagraph Co.'s happy conceptions, being a powerful story of a recent American colliery disaster. "The Girl in the Film" is a delightful comedy. "Pictures of the Far East" and "Over Rocks and Ice" are scendos of artistic merit. A number of other high-grade pictures will also be shown.
