"THE BAD GIRL OF THE FAMILY." The first production in Masterton of that sensational drama, "Tie Bad Girl of the Family," will take place at the Town Hall on Tuesday evening. If. success in previoiu,B cities is to bo taken as a criterion, Mr George Marlow, whose fine organisation will interpret the drama,, should havo an immensely isjuccessful season, here. The piece, which is from the pen of rttlia-t. fine dramatic writer, Frederick Melville, will have <a cast of the leading artists in Australia, including Messrs Herbert Bentley, O. R. iStandord, Thomas Curren, Herbert Linden, P. V. Sculloy, Thomas Tilton, and' Misses Ada Guilford, Ida Gresham, Lillian Wiseman and Addde Kelly. So much has been written regarding this remarkable play, and such considerable comment excited over, its intrinsic merits, that it is no wonder! that more than ordinary interest is being provoked in its presentation. The piece is now running .simultaneously at two London theatres,; while no less than four dramatic companies are touring with it through the, English Provinces. "What its -charm especially is," remarked a gentleman who recently ©aw the play at the i Aldwich Theatre "one. cannot exactly define; hut it gets hold of you aaid emibraces you with its 'atmosphere, and completely envelopes' you to the oblivion of all surrounding conditions." In Melbourne, at the Princess Theatre, "The Bad Girl of the Family" ran fo rseveral weeks to crowded houses, and has just finished a ten weeks season in Sydney, and has also just concluded successful seasons m 'Auckland, Wellington; Dainodin- and. Ghristchurch. Intending theatregoers,,, to prevent disappointment are ridvised to procure seats or "• ck•etV'at;Miss Rite's;'Y' ; '' ; <''' ; *."''" '"'*
