EMPIRE PRESS CONFERENCE.
(Received Last Night, 8.35 o'clock.) LONDON, June 29. At a conference or the Empire Pi-ess Union, over which Mr Harry Lawson, of Australia, presided, the report showed that substantial progress had been made during the past year. Many instances were given _ of useful work accomplished in the interests of the Press. Overseas branches are to be asked to develop a basis of organisation.
