A PITIFUL APPEAL
BY MRS PROUDLOCK. (Received Last Night, 10.35 o'clock.) SINGAPORE, June 29. Mrs Proudlock reiterates her inr nocence of the charge of murder for which, she was convicted. She states that she is unable to bear the horror and suspense of a second trial, and has withdrawn her appeal. She asks the Sultan to have pity upon her in her sufferinge, and to grant her a pardon :
