LABOUR STRIKES
DRASTIC MEASURES THREATENED. PRINTERS 5 STRIKE COLLAPSES. (Received Last Night, 9.40 o'clock.) LONDON, June 29. The National Transport Workers' Federation Conference has resolved to adopt drastic action against the shipping firms unless the seamen's strike is terminated hy Saturday. CAPETOWN, June 29. The printers' strike has collapsed, the men having returned to work unconditionally.
