Mr Winston j Churchill'® use of the prerogative, and not refraining from appeals j to the gallery, particularly regarding the Dartmoor Shepherd. He" also criticised the conduct of j the Tony Pandy riots and the Sidney Street affray. The reduction of the vote was rejected by 173 votes: to 143.
