AUSTRALIA'S LONG DISTANCE. MOTOR RECORD. Mr Colin B. King completed a 7000 mile louring run in a 30 horse-power Cadillac car, shod with Dunlop tyres, journeying fro-n Brisbane, passing through New South Wales to Sydney,- over the Blue Mountains to .Melbourne, and across the dessert to Adelaide and Broken Hill, to Cunnaimlia,' passing within a few miles 'of the Historic spot on Cooper's Creek, where the Burke and Wills' ex.pedit:on j rished of thirst an J privation, the cnly survivor by a strange co-incidence, being a man named, "King." Thh is the Australian record long distarce touring run in the one car with the one set of tyres, and is tho event of the year in motoring.
