DOMINION RIFLE ASSOCIATION.
DETAILS OF FUTURE MANAGEMENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Niglit, Regarding the future oT the Dominion Rifle Association, it is understood that the change already foreshadowed by the Commandant will be brought about gradually. The first step will be taken at the neact annual meeting at Trentham, when four days will be devoted to matches under service conditions, and four days matches at fixed targets. There will be a Dominion Rifle Association, and district and group rifle associations in each military district. The Dominion Association will consist of His Excellency the Governor as patron; and the Minister of Defence as vice-patron; and the Commandant, and a President. The Adjutant-General, Director of. Mili-' tary Training, and Director of Military Operations, will be vice-presi-dents, and ex officio members of the Council, which will consist of ten members, two from each district, nominated by the officei'vcpmmpjadmg the district, and two selected by the Commandant. A committee has to be appointed in each District' to manage the District Associations.
