i MURDER AND SUICIDE. ((Received Last Night, 10.25 o'clock.) MELBOURNE, June 26. At the inquest on the bodies, of Mrs, Eiuisse.il and her sister, Miss Ford, the viictimis of the Fitzroy tragedy, a verdict was returned that Mrs Russell administered poison to her sister and then took a dose herself. There was • no evidence to show the state of Mrs Russell's mind ajt the time of the tragedy. . , (A cable message received on the 13th inst. stated that Mrs Russell had. poisoned her sister, Miss Ford, while the latter was- dririEioig with some friends. Mrs Russell had previously threatened to "settle" Miss Ford if, she did; not stop, drinking. Miss, Foa-d. was, delicate,, .and.JMrfe, Russell was afraid of the drink affecting .her health.)
