LONDON MARKETS. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have been advised by cable from their London House, under date 20th June, as follows: — • Frozen meat. —Since our last cable prices for mutton and lamb are oneeighth of a.penny lower. Beef.—Prices are unchanged. Tallow.—Since our last cable prices are uncharged for prime mutton tallow. For low and inferior descriptions prices are 3d per lb higher, and for all other descriptions 6d to 9d per lb higher. The next public sale of; tallow will be held on 19th June. Batchelor's sale, held by the New, Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Dalgety and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd. There was a large and representative attendance. The Romney sheep did not meet with the compeltition that was anticipated, the recent rough weather detracting from t r -ir appearance and no doubt affecting \ . ■ -\ price realised. The Jersey cattle were greatly admired and keenly sought after, buyers for these coming from outside districts.
