NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office this evening issued the following summary and .forecast : .The baromefea* comnieinced to rise about Wednesday at midnight, and southerly winds, strong to gale, have prevailed since, with cold showery and changeable weather generally, though very fine in parts at times, especially oil the East Coast. Paresemt' indicationis are for strong southerly winds, with cold and changeable weather generally, and squally in Foveaux Strait. The barometer will probably rise everywhere.
