FEDERAL LAND TAX
i THE PAYMENTS MADE, A RECORD IN TAXATION. (Received This -Morning, 12.3 o'clock.) MELBOURNE, June 23. Up till June 21st, the payments of Federal land tax totalled £1,337,184. There were several payments still to come. On Tuesday and -Wednesday £l, 000,000 was received. This constitutes a record in taxation receipts.
