PAHIATUA STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows : —We offered a fair yarding of sheep and a moderate yarding of cattle on Tuesday. Cattle sold at late rates, dairy sorts being in good demand. Quotations 2 and 4-tobth"" wethers, 12s; fat sheep, 12s Id to 12s lOd; sound mouth ewes in lamb, 8s lOd to 9s lOd; full mouth ditto, 6s' to 7s 2d; empty ewes, 6s to 9s; store ewes, 3s 9d to -is 4d ; medium hoggets, 8s 5d to 7s lid; good hoggets, 8s to 10s 4d; small hoggets, 4s to 5s fid; 3year steers, £5 15s; 18 month steers, £3 8s 6d; good dairy cows, £7 to £9 10s; backward dairy cows, £4 17s 6d to £5 10s; cows in calf, £3 to £3 17s 6d; empty cows, £2 10s to £4.
