THE JOCK WILLIS-DAVE SMITH COMBINATION, The above 'Combination will appear at the Town Hall on' Saturday next, June 24th, when they will inaugurate ia .return season of one night. The whole entertainment is novel, and imakes an appeal to those who admire high-class, entertainments, which also contain, popular features. The company specialise in the rendering of the "Auld, auld Sangs," sparkling comedies, humorous monologues, and the latest song successes. The Caledonian quartette party who form, part of the (organisation have earned the reputation of being among the ibest harmonists and soloists that have yet toured the Dominion. lai Mi' Edward Headla.ni the company have secured a monologue entertainer of exceptional merit. Mr Tarn McLean (basso), Mr Robert Ferguson (low tenor;), Mr Colin Cameron (tenor), are also vocalists, and siing in .an attractive manner. The comedian, Mr Jock Willis, who is aptly termed v the "Harry Lauder of th» iSoutlh," who, besides being a humorist whose comedy never infringes on the coarse or vulgar side, is a baritone of splendid range and quality. The head of the assemblage is Mr Dave Smith, New Zealand's champion middle-weight boxer of the world, who will give a refined athletic display, illustrating the different forms of training that an athlete lias to undergo to fit himself for a contest, also demonstrating the prominent 'boxers' blows, methods of attack, etc. The entire entertainment being essenced with a mast delightful refinement of good humour, should he the means, of drawinig large houses during their season here. The prices are 3s<, 2s, and children half irates. The (box plan is now open at Miss Rive's.
