(From Our Own Correspondent*.' CARTERTON. All arrangement** rcr celebrating the Coronation of King George V. are complete, and the only item required to make the event a success is fine weather. At the time of writing, however, this did not look too promising. At a meeting at Longbush on Monday evening, it was decided to take steps to establish a co-operative dairy factory ready for next season's operations. Nearly three hundred cows were guaranteed in tine room. The handsome challenge silver cup to be competed for at tho forthcoming show of the South. Wairarapa Poultry Association, is expected to arrive in the course of a few days. The cup will be awarded to the best bird am the show, and has to be worn. twice in succession, or three times at intervals. A ibeautaM tableau, representing the "Overseas Dominions," id jto be staged at Belvedere this evening, by the school children. , The Borough staff are at present busily engaged grading Brooklyn Road. A number of the business place® here are specially decorated with the patriotic colours, to-day, to mark the Coronation. A number, of local residents are at present attending the winter show at Palmerston North. . . ..-.,..•--.
