SUPREME COURT.
NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. The Supreme Court sessions opened, here before Mr Justice Edwards. A young Maori named Miunga Waaonga- pleaded guilty to a charge of breaking and entering ami theft at Okaiawa, and was sentenced to twelve months'' hard labour, and ordered to undergo reformatory treatment for a period not exceeding four years. Alexander Blue, charged, with house*breakiing and theft at Hawera, was found guilty of tihefit, and sentenced to twelve months hard labour and reformatory treatment not exceeding three years, f Lewis Jlohn Pepperell, a youth app- | arently about nineteen years of "age, I was charged with, carnally knoAving l a girl over twelve and under sixteen j years of age, and the jury disagreed, I a fresh trial being ordered for next I sessions, and accused was releasee? on bail.
