SAVES HIS WIFE'S LIFE.
TRANSFUSION OF A QUART OF BLOOD.

NEW YORK, June 20. Senator Lea, of Tennessee, saved his dying wife by the transfusion of a quart of hi.s own blood into her body. The Senator fainted after" the operation.
