NEW ZEALAND FORECAST.

V WELLINGTON. Last Night. Simda-y morning was very cold but a .decrease in the barometer pressure lias taken' place since, witii increasing humidity everywhere. Rain has fallen, to-day northward of East Gape and Kawhia, and on the West Coast and in southern districts of the South Island. Present indications are for the development of a storm area northwest of New Zealand, which will probably affect the North Island shortly. Strong northerly and westerly winds are probable everywhere. Increasing cloudiness, preceding rain, in. most parts of the country-, and a falling barometer everywhere; butunsteady insouthern districts.
