At the Coroner's inquiry .held to-r day into the cp'rcumstaxices attending the fire on. J.une 6th, by which the Gaiety Theatre, used also as a motor gai-age, was coinpetely destroyed, the jiury found that the fire Was caused by the ignition, of fumes of benzine while filling the tank of motor car, but there was no evidence to show the cause of sfuoli ignition ; that the theatre wais used as a motor garage day and nigifot, and duiaug the evening as a kinematograpliic place of entertainment jthat approximately five or six cases of benzine were stored in. close proximity to tile theatre; that' the building was unsuitable asi a place of- public amusement by reason of the materials of which-it was ooinposed, being unsatisfactorily constructed miHt. regard to aajd mtet uii'siriisfaictory £s a' place of public amusement, owing to its being used as' a mote linage; Itbe "jury added the following rider: —That it be a recoaameaidatioin to the; Borough. Council that in view of possible outbreaks,.
