AMUSEMENTS.
THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. A capital programme was presented to a large audience at the Foresters' *i3'a3l last/ evening. Among the dramas was a' fine story of the dark days of Russia, entitled "Rachael," and vividly depicting the tyranny existing in that country. The A.B. picture, : "The Tfliree Sisters," in whiuh the popular. Dorothy Nicholson takes the leading role, was a decided favourite with the audience. "A Brother's Redemption," a. thrilling military drama, was one of the best subjects tlhe Lubin Company has turned out. "The Link that held" was another capital drama. Comedy of the' brightest and best was to be found in "Kelly in the Country," "Dogs Not Allowed," and "Pigs is Pigs." The Warwick Chronicle placed the latest Home, and foreign news pictorially before the audience. "Scenes in Cambodia" was* a very acceptable scenic. The programme will be repeated this evening. On Thursday night the firm will present for the first time the groat bushranging picture "Beai Hall," the finest production of its kind ever turned out, and being 3000 ft long.
