FORTY THOUSAND TAKE PART.
A STRIKING PROCESSION.

LONDON, June 18.
Mr Drumrnond, on horseback, led a procession five miles in length, in connection with the Women's Social and Political Union. The women marched seven abreast'.
Forty thousand were present, representing all counties. Seventy bands took part in the procession, one section of which symbolised the part taken by women in making history. Then came seven hundred Suffragettes who hod been imprisoned, dressed in white.
Another section of the Pageart represented the greatness and \. '•■ity of the Empire. Besides Mesdames Fisher and McGrowen, of Australia, Lady Brassey and Lady Oockburn walked in the procession. The proceedings at the Albert Hall were enthusiastic.
