Those who hesitate when suoh good things are offered as one can find at Messrs McLeod and Young's annual sale are certainly not wise. The sale is almost finished, but'there are a number of lines of big value being shown to-day. Novels at 8s 6d, and other books are being offered at Is each. Oddments in stationery worth 2s and 2s 6d are being sold at 6d each.*

Those interested are reminded of the sale by auction to-day, by Messrs Maclean and Co., of ,the general fittings and furniture of L. J. Hooper's shop, under instructions from the Wairarapa Farmers' Co-operative Association. This is an opportunity for securing bargains in chairs, tables, counters, linoleums, cash register, Milner's safe, and other useful lines.

Messrs Dalgety and Co.. Ltd., have received instructions from Captain J. B. Whyte (who has disposed of his Ngaturi property) to sell the whole of his dairy herd. The list includes 53 first-class dairv cows, and other linos, all of which are to be sold entirely without reserve. The sale will take place at the Maneahao Road yards on Monday, June 19th, at one o'clock.
