PALMERSTON STOCK SALE

PALMERSTON N., Xast Night, Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At our Palmerston North sale to-day we had a fair entry of both sheep and cattle. Sheep met .with a keen demand, every lot selling under the hammer at prices in favour of vendors. Cattle were dull of sale, owners' reserves in most cases being rather high. We quote:—Empty ewes, 8s 8d to 10s; 2-tooth wethers, lis lOd; mixed hoggets, 8s 2d; small, 4s 3d; cull ewes, 4s sd. Cattle. —Forward cows, £3 18s 6d to £4 ss; store cows, £2 to £2 10s; forward bullocks, £6 12s 6d; dairy heifers, £6 to £6 ss: cows, £6; weaner.s, 16s to 265. AUCKLAND SHARE MARKET. Mr J. T. Hendry, sharebroker, of Auckland (in conjunction with Messrs C. C.
