, WELLINGTON, Last Night/' The Town Hall was crowded tonight, when a public demonstration in favour of the principles of the N.Z. Alliance was held. Mr Wesley Spraggj, President of the N.Z. Alliance, presided, and addresses were delivered iby Lieut.-Colonel Birkenshaw, Miss Anderson Hughes, Rev. L. M. Isitt, Mr A. S. Adams, Rev. J. Dawson, and Mrs Barton, an ex- , member of the Glasgow City Council. Mr Isitt .said the gathering cekv bra.ted the silver weddia gof the N.Z. Alliance. This movement had bound together all the temperance activity of the country, and the party had kept united all the time..
