"The Village Coachman" ! and "The Evasion" are two studies of higW dramatic power and quality. A picture'which should he of special &-? terest to Australians is entitled "Ira Picturesque Sydney," showing the city, suburbs, parks, harbour etc. "Wild Western, Ireland" gives glimpses of this rugged Bpot, whiiei "A Bamble Through a Zoo" and "Snakes and Their HaMis"; are two very interesting subject®. In a lighter vein, much will be found trt amuse in "Tilly's Birthday," "Calino's New Hat," "Bill as operator/' and "His First Picture Show." Pretty and appropriate music "will be rendered by the T.-P. orchestra, I which has now established itself a. favoul'itfe'%iith: patrons; ' On June 22nd, 23rd and 24th Messrs Thompson and Payne will show <whiat is claimed to be the greatest ibushranging picture ever produc-. Ed, "A Tale of the Australian Bush.'* The caste of characters includes; many artists known to Masterton theatregoers, including A. J. Patrick (late oif the Nellie 'Stewart Co.), as Beii Hall, Godfrev Cass (formerly of the Bland Holt'and "Fatal Wedding" Companies), .as Melville, Mass Louise Carbosse" (late of Nellie Stewart Co.) as Mrs Hall, James Martin (one of J. C. Williamson's best-known actors) as Keightley, Miss Home Ireland (a favourite Australian, actress) as Mrs Kjeighfcley, Harry Beaumont as Gilbert, and Isma Owen as BloMae HaM.
The (usual children's matinee will take place at 2.30 o'clock on Saturday afternoon.,
