CARTERTON.

Tilie half-yearly election of officers in connection with Totara Lodge, U.A.0.D., took place on Monday evening. A social evening followed.

The local branch of the. Wairarapa Egg Circle sent away 80 dozen eggs to the market on Tuesday morning. Weather of a very unsettled nature is 'being experienced in the district at the present time. Mr A. Mcßenzie, mho some two years ago was .manager of the Taratalii Dairy Ocmipany, has ibeen on a visit to Carterton during the past weak.
