MONTHLY MEETING. { The monthly meeting of the Maisterton Go-ope(raifcive Dairy Company was held on Saturday last. There were .present: Messrs J. C. Ewingtom (chairman), J. E. Kjestrup, R. Walton, P, Cotter, and; J. Wright. It .was decided to leave in .the hands of Mr It. Thompson, local manager at Nikau, the matter of letting the manager's 'house during th©;off sea-') son. Considerable discussion took • place in regard to the regulation of I the price of • butter for thi local' 1 market, and it was eventually de- . coded: to leave the matter> in. the hands of the Chairman and Secretary to regulate at their discretion. Messrs Ewington and Cotter Were appointed delegates to represent the Company at the annual meeting of the National Dairy Association, to he held at Palmerston North on June 20th. They were also appointed delegates to the meeting of con.tributoris to the Home Agent Fund at the same meeting. It was decided to ask the delegates to bring up for discussion at the conference the question of a better system of handling, the produce for distribution in the BJoime market. ! The Manager reported that' he I would close dowai the factory on I Friday next, which would then com- \ plete the supply from Eangitumau. i It was decided to instruct the Manager to include in his next report the question of tihe erection of a whare for the assistant at the factory.
