Reports, from the" Country beyond" Masterton indicate that 'a mortality amongst hoggets, similar to that of last year, has commenced. The cause of the mortality is thought to be the parasite ,:.V:'hich attacks the fourth 's'tmuaoh hogget. The-effect is to oroduee diarrhoea, which terminates in death. A good reniedy is to turn the sheep on to fresh pasture.-.
