IKAROA DISTRICT MAORI LAND BOARD
MEETING AT MASTERTON. A meeting of the above Board was held at the Courthouse, Masterton, yesterday. There were present.— Messrs J. B. Jack (President), Ahaia Hutana and Eruera Nicholson (members), and L. A. Teuteniburg (clerk). The following applications were dealt with:— Waikorukoutauanui 7 D and 7 E.— Transfer of 100 acres from Rihara Ihaia to Amy A. Pike.— Approved subject to a special valuation showing price adequate. Piapawm No. 3. Transfer of interests of Takana Kingi and. three others to Iriatara Kingi.— Approved. Mairirikapua H.— Transfer of 8 acres from Keremenea and Henare Maafca to Wim. L. Cameron.— Approved. On the application of R. W. Tate, the Board.' decided to convene meetings of owners of Paehuia and Oruatannore Blocks to discuss a proposal to vest the land in »tlie Board for leasing. Applications in respect of Pahaoa Nos. 7 A and 7 B and Sethsemane No. 7 D were adjourned till the next meeting of the Beard.
