CHURCH SERVICES.

Special anniversary services are to be held in the Masterton Methodist Church to-morrow, when appropriate sermons will be preached by the Eev. S. J. Serpell. Special musical items are to be rendered by the choir. At the Knox Church to-morrow morning the Rev. A. T. Thompson will give a review of the first report laid before the _ World's Missionary Conference. The text for the evening service will be "The hem of His garment." The services in the outfields are as follows:—iKopuaranga, Rev. A. T. Thompson; Miki Miki, Mr D. McGregor; Wangaehu, Mr G. Falla. The services at the Salvation Army on Sunday will be conducted by Adjutant Neilsen, an old officer of the Masterton corps. During the afternoon Ensign Avenell will give a reading, entitled, "A part of London," taken from Harold Begbie's "Broken Earthenware." A number of singing items will be introduced during the rendering. Baptist Church services will be held in Murray's Hall, Queen Street, Masterton. to-morrow morning and evening. Pastor E. Swinerd will preach. There wUJ.be Sunday School in the afternoon. The Y.M.C.A. is the Sunday meeting place for the man who does not know where to go. Afternoon tea for,, strangers is)provided, at which Mr A. Donald will give an address on "Autobiography—What is Life?" Mr Perrin will speak on "The Tabernacle" and exhibit a model at the Bible Class. The Congregational Church services in Masterton will be conducted by the Rev. A. Hodge to-morrow. The morning subject will be, "The Rock, the Church, the Kingdom, and the Keys," and the evening subject, "The Holy Spirit—The Old Testament."
