HOCKEY GROUNDS.

[2*o The, Editvr. ?

Sir, — I wish to be allowed a Btt> space in which to refer to a, lettcwhich appeared in your'yesiterday's issue, and was anonymously signed "A Player." Now, I would like to point out to "Player" that there is a Hockey Association, to wihich he is quite at liberty to refer any grievance or make any suggestion, providing he sign's his name to his letter. Will "A Player" ansiwer these questions? Is it possible to play three matches on two grounds at the same time? Has "A Player" ever done a hand's turn to improve the Lanisdowne ground? I venture my opinion that "A Player" is one of those most enthusiastic persons who are al there with "talk," but if asked to do a little in the way of improving the ground on which he takes his recreation, generally says, "I am very sorry, but I have got to .mind the baby," etc. In conclusion, I would suggest to "A Player"'that he should place his complaints of hockey mismanagement before the only Association that can deal with such matters ; allso to lose his "mom cle plume" and not-hide himself behind twentyone other players, any one of whom, had they a complaint to make, would have made it in the proper way, and, not rushed into print. Thanking vou, Mr Editor.— I am, etc. AROB. C. PBAGNELL, Hon. Sec. W.H.A.
