"MEET" AT OPAKI. A "meet" in connection Avith the Wairarapa. Hunt took place at Opaki yesterday, the throw-off being on the property of Mr W. H. Buick. The drag av*s laid by Mr C. F. Vallance (Master) on Grey Da.wn and Hall Lasts, Miss Zona being on Daisy Bell. Amongst the folloAvers Avere Mr Tas. Smith (Huntsman) on Oakley, Mir F. B. Vallance (Whip) on Nedra, Mr W. H. Buick (Deputy-Master) on .Firestick, Mr C. J. Bennett on Haututu, Mr W. Lett on Laddie, Mr.G. McKay on Oiistuo, Mr R. D. Morrison on Weary Bill, Mr H. FaMoon on Frolic, Mr C. Westmoreland on Minola, Mr J. O'Brien on Wildfire, Mr A. Wiatson on Sylvia Maid, Mr W. Butteridge on Ngakmia. Afternoon tea was kindly piwided by Mrs Buick, and Mr and Mrs Buick Avere heartily thanked by the Master for their hospitality.'
