THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. The Foresters' Hall was well filled last evening, when the current programme .was. shown lor the last time. To-night the (programme will contain the latest pictures to arrive by the mail from England, America and the Continent. All the (subjects are new, and have never been shown in. New Zealand before, the new contracts , arranged • by, 'Messrs Thomson and Payne allowing them to present pictures to their Masterton audiences before thoy are shown elsewhere. The programme this.evening will contain the 'fallowing [particularly interesting, studies:— ' 'The' Price of Victory" (the greaitest thing ever attempted in .military dramas, being of a realistic and (starring nature, with a pretty dove story running through it), "A Silent Message" (a delightful drama, full of powerful acting); "Their First (Misunderstanding" (a capital Imp. comedy); "Shipwrecked Mariners" (a coloured .study of exceptional excellence), "Bear Hunting in Malay" (an exciting picture); "Fire in Moscow" (a sensational film); "Motor Moat Racing" (a capital nautical picture); "Pleasures of Home Life" (a splendid comedy-dra-ma). On Saturday afternoon next, the usual children's matinee will take place, commencing at 2.30 o'clock. Children will be cha.-gGri 6d, those under 4 year® of age being admitted free.. ..
