FAT STOCK SALES.

The announcement that arrangements have been definitely made for the holding of sales of fat stock at the Solway yards at Master-ton, will be received with interest by a large number of breeders throughout the district. The ;sales will necessarily be on a smaller scale tha nthose held at Addington, Burnside and other centres, but they will be none the less important iso far as the settlers of the. district are concerned. If they can be permanently established, and the (butchers- of the larger towns are .made to depend upon them for their supplies, the advantage to the breeders may be considerable. The result of the experiment—for ex periment it really is—will be watched with considerable interest.
