SUPREME COURT.
PALMBRSTON N., Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day, civil cases were heard in which J. M. Howell claimed from Thomas' McGregor £228 commission for collecting accounts, and Goldinghain and Beckett, Ltd., claimed from one -Flyger specific performance of a lease of a right-of-way and damages. Mr Justice Chapman found for the defendants in both cases. Frederick Hunter, for forging and uttering a Savings Bank withdrawal note for £3, was given a three years' reformative sentence. Accused had six previous convictions for theft.
