THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
It is generally admitted that tile em-rent programme at the Foresters' Hall is one of the best Messrs Thompson and Payne have ever placed before an audience, and last night the large numlber of patrons present were highly delighted with, the bill-of-fare. The dramas include: "East Lynne" (Mrs Henry Wood's famous play), "The Runaway Engine," (an exciting realistic, istudy), "The Border Ranger" and "The Cattle Rustlers" (cowboy stories), "The Law and the Man" (a, tale of an American trust.) The film depicting the Liverpool Grand .National Steeplechase is undoubtedly the best sporting picture seen in Masterton. A number of splendid comedy, comic and scenic subjects are also contained in the programme, w ! Mch will be presented for the last time to-night.
