A RAILWAY SCANDAL.
The disgraceful incident recorded in the Age to-day, in which a corpse was shunted off a train at Woodville to make room for cattle trucks, should result an a 'Searching investigation into the methods adopted by railway officials. The seriousness of the matter is emphasised by the fact that this appears, to have been the second occasion during the past fortnight in which funerals have been delayed through the bungling on the part Oif railway officials. The public can endure a good -man y inconveniences, but when incidents such as those referred to become common there is need for a drastic remedy.
