MASTERTON HOSPITAL BALL.
MEETING OF COMMITTEE.
A. large and enthusiastic attendance of the various Cominitteei& with the fortlicomiiiig;'Hospital Ball on July &th was held in the Technical School last evening. The Committees reported that numerous lists were in,circulation, and that the promises of support were most encouraging. Mesdames W. H. Beetham, W.-B. Chennells and W. H. Jackson were appointed the judges for the fancy dresses. At the children's fancy dress ball on the following night prizes will be given for xhe best dressed boy and girl of six, twelve and fifteen years, when a nominal charge will be made. The ball is being promoted to raise funds to procure an X-Ray apparatus, and such a worthy object should meet with the heflrtv support of the whole community. No expense is being spared, and it is'anticipated that the function will be the most suoeesisful held for years. The prices for the tickets are: Double 7s 6d, single ss, and extra lady 3s.
