FEDERAL LAND TAX.
CONSTITUTIONALLY VALID

MELBOURNE, May 31
The Federal High Court has given its decision in the case in which Mr Frank Osborne sought a declaration that the Commonwealth land tax was invalid, and not within the powers of the Federal Parliament.
The Court unanimously upheld the tax as constitutionally valid.
