ENORMOUS DAMAGE DONE

BERLIN, May 31. Violent thunder storms have been experienced in. South Germany.
The river Paimar overflowed its banks near Stuttgart, and swept away .six houses. Twelve persons were drowned, including a family of six.
Four persons were drowned at Heidelberg, and several childiren are missing.
BRUSSELLS, May 31. Hailstones which fell during a storm killed thousands of birds. Fourteen workmen wdio were sheltering in a shed in the Mous district were struck by lightning, and all seriously injured.
