CHRISTCHUROH, Last Night,
W. J. Mitchell, the Canterbury threequarter, who was a member of last year's New Zealand team 'in Australia, played his. final game here on Saturday, and leaves for Sydney shortly. His departure will be a loss to local football, as Mitchell is probably the best defensive' back seen here, for some time.
